My work is a reflection of the idea of inaccessibility and how the less readily obtainable things in life are the most desirable. This concept is displayed through a series of female figures that suggestively break the frame of a canvas. The crisply-edged shapes are meant to comfortably accommodate the figures I paint, as if they had room to make choices about how much they expose of themselves. The realism I invest into each painting is meant to parallel the flawless perfection of each model.
